Kathryn Wilkins has been drawing since she was able to hold a pencil. At the age of 7 she decided that she wanted to make a career out of  it. In the 5th grade she attended an Animation convention children of color and it was there that she was introduced to The California Institute of the Arts. Throughout high school she made it her goal to make it into CalArts right when she graduated. In 2008, she was accepted into the Character Animation program after she graduated from Walnut High School. Now, she is about to graduate with a Bachelors Degree and is excited to jump into the world of Animation and Illustration.
